Approved CFIs for Initial Flying 20 Club Check-Out
The initial checkout of a new member must be
performed by one of the club's approved CFIs.
Subsequent flight instruction may be performed in
club aircraft by any CFI who is current by FAA
standards, subject to a few exceptions. If a member
is not able to act as Pilot In Command (such as when
the pilot is out of currency), then the instructor,
who must act as Pilot In Command, must be one of the
club approved CFIs below for the instruction to occur
in a club aircraft. It is not however necessary for
the pilot to regain currency by utilizing a club
aircraft; the pilot may regain FAA currency
elsewhere.
